Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the easing of environmental adaptation for athletes who practice in high altitude areas with low altitude to VO2max and blood hemoglobin (Hb) levels. This type of research is quasi-experimental. VO2Max data was taken using a bleep test, whereas for blood hemoglobin (Hb) data collection using the shahly method. Hypothesis testing in this study proves that there is a significant difference in VO2Max athletes who train in the highlands with lowlands in anaerobic sports. There is no difference in the hemoglobin (Hb) blood of athletes who practice in the highlands with lowlands in anaerobic sports.
