Perubahan Durasi Waktu Permainan Akibat Perubahan Sistem Scoring Pada Cabang Olahraga Bulutangkis

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana durasi waktu permainan dalam cabang bulutangkis yang dilihat dari 4 durasi waktu yaitu: durasi waktu set, rally, istirahat dan pertandingan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah semua pemain yang mengikuti Kejuaraan Malaysia Master 2020. Sedangkan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling, sehingga sampel yang digunakan adalah pasangan ganda putra Indonesia yang mewakili kejuaraan tersebut sebanyak 4 pasangan. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pengamatan video yang ada di Youtube pada kejuaraan Malaysia Master 2020 dan kemudian memasukkannya ke dalam tabel yang telah divalidasi ahli berdasarkan durasi waktu permainan yang ingin dihitung selama pertandingan berlangsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif yaitu: reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durasi waktu set rata – ratanya adalah 16 menit, durasi waktu rally rata – ratanya adalah 4.94 detik, durasi waktu istirahat rata – ratanya adalah 19.72 detik dan durasi waktu pertandingan rata – ratanya adalah 40.91 menit. Sehingga disarankan kepada para pelatih untuk memberikan latihan sesuai dengan karakteristik cabang bulutangkis yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan durasi waktu yang terjadi selama permainan berlangsung.
